The official BMF season 2 summary is as follows:
“Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Demetrius Flenory, Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi) are two brothers who, in the late 1980s, emerged from the run-down streets of southwest Detroit to found one of the most powerful crime families in the nation: the Black Mafia Family. BMF continues to humanise the brothers’ decisions and their pursuit of the American Dream by telling the story with grit, emotion, and comedy. The television show, which is based on themes of devotion, family, and brotherhood, examines the complicated relationships between the brothers and their parents, Charles and Lucille Flenory (Russell Hornsby and Michole Briana White), who consult Pastor Swift (Snoop Dogg).
“As the season begins, Meech and Terry are at odds, and every character is struggling with temptation. Meech wants to take the company outside of Detroit, but Terry is more concerned with his studies and starting a professional vehicle service with his father. However, as the season progresses, the streets collapse and the brothers come together. In their quest to become more powerful than ever and strategically carry out a new vision for themselves and their company, our heroes risk it everything.

Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. and Da’Vinchi play Big Meech and Southwest T, the brothers at the centre of BMF, respectively. Although he was previously seen as Travis in Euphoria, Flenory Jr. is actually the son of the real-life Big Meech, and BMF represents his most important acting role. Da’Vinchi is an accomplished actor who has been in popular programmes including The Boys, Grown-ish, and All American.
Mo’Nique, an Oscar-winning actress and comedian, joins the season 2 cast in a special casting announcement. Mo’Nique is no stranger to Hollywood; in addition to winning an Academy Award for her work in Precious, she has also been in films including Bessie, Almost Christmas, and Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins and on television in The Parkers.
