Story of Season 5
The Conners focuses on the title family and how they have changed following Roseanne’s demise. Many of the characters were married in season 4—Dan married Louise, Sara wed Ben, and Jackie wed Neville—but Harris and her lover Aldo chose not to walk down the aisle.

“Jackie and Neville and Darlene and Ben, two newlywed couples, embark on a combined honeymoon while trying to cut costs, which results in a stressful trip. Dan, Becky, Harris, Mark, and Beverly Rose go on a nighttime excursion to a waterpark, where Harris and Mark unexpectedly get close as Mark adjusts to the knowledge that his ex-boyfriend is seeing someone else.”
