The second season of the popular comedy Ghosts has been released.
Ghosts, a smash sensation of the 2021–2022 television season, is back on CBS and eager to provide viewers with another spooky good time.
Ghosts is the most recent instance of a British original programme that American viewers have adapted for and appreciated. To name a few, it joins shows like The Office, Shameless, House of Cards, and Love Island USA. Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, the American writers and producers of Ghosts, undoubtedly aspire to achieve the same level of popularity as those shows.
Before we can discuss Ghosts’ position in the British-to-American pantheon, however, season 2 of the show is expected to demonstrate that season 1 was not an aberration. Here is all the information we have on ghosts.

What’s the premise of Ghosts?
Ghosts centers on Samantha and Jay, a young couple who hope to convert their inherited old farmhouse into a bed and breakfast. Samantha, however, starts to see the few spirits that live in the mansion after having an accident there. They must all learn to coexist and support one another.
There were two major developments in the Ghosts season 1 finale. First, a British soldier from the Revolutionary War who died in a ghostly battle confesses to Isaac, his ghostly lover, his genuine, loving thoughts. In the meanwhile, Samantha and Jay learn of a curse that was placed upon them soon after moving in by Thorfinn, before they all became friends, just as they are preparing to launch their B&B. Samantha resolves to ignore the curse because the only method to break it could jeopardize her ability to speak with spirits. However, as they greet their first visitors, the house’s floorboards start to collapse around them.
The Ghosts season one finale saw the occurrence of two significant events. First, a British soldier from the Revolutionary War who perished in phantom combat reveals his sincere, romantic sentiments to Isaac, his spirit sweetheart.
While they are getting ready to open their B&B, Samantha and Jay discover a curse that was cast upon them shortly after moving in by Thorfinn, before they all became friends. Samantha decides not to try to break the curse because doing so would interfere with her capacity to communicate with the dead. However, as they welcome their first guests, the floors of the home begin to cave in around them.

Collision between Ghosts UK and Ghosts US
We have some good news for Ghosts fans who were familiar with the original UK version and hoped for some sort of crossover between the two series. The new season has something of that going on. In the US version of the programme, Mathew Baynton, who plays Thomas Thorne in season 4 of Ghosts in the UK, is a guest star as Pete. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly(opens in new tab), Baynton spoke about his time in the US and said:
“I was a bit worried that the collision of the two worlds might rip a hole in the fabric of time and space when I was asked to appear in a guest role on the CBS version of Ghosts. I had a lot of pleasure playing with a group of great, funny people instead, thank goodness, since it didn’t actually happen.”
Is there a season 2 trailer for Ghosts 2022?
A Ghosts season 2 teaser has been made available by CBS. It includes some of the highlights from season one as well as the first glimpse of the brand-new episodes, which will premiere in the autumn of 2022. These moments include Jay believing he can see ghosts after banging his head and the B&B getting ready for their (second) first visitors.
